What the numbers mean.

Sources, dates and assumptions belong alongside the research.

The company universe

Our 63 selected U.S.-listed companies cover five editorial themes. The universe includes U.S. companies and U.S.-listed foreign shares or depositary receipts. It is not the whole market or a recommended portfolio. The default radar order counts mentions in our story library, then sorts by ticker. It does not measure social sentiment, trading attention or investment quality.

Market data

The dated snapshot was retrieved through a financial-data service on September 23, 2026, between 18:51 and 18:58 UTC. Prices are USD, changes compare with the prior close, and volume is partial-session volume. These snapshots do not update themselves. When configured, Massive supplies timestamped quotes and the visible page checks once per minute. Quotes may be delayed. Missing quotes retain their explicitly labeled snapshot.

Market-mover rankings

Research-universe gainers and losers sort by percentage change versus the prior close; most active sorts by share volume, not dollar volume. Biggest moves sorts by absolute percentage change. Breadth counts advancing, declining and unchanged stocks within the displayed selection. The newest New York calendar date is used; older-session and invalid quotes are excluded rather than mixed into the ranking.

The separate U.S. market view uses Massive’s gainers and losers snapshots when connected: up to 20 per direction, at least 10,000 shares of volume, excluding OTC. It requires a compatible data plan. “Today” is shown only for same-day provider data no older than 30 minutes with a successful refresh. Snapshots may include extended-hours activity; the page does not infer exchange holiday or session status. Provider quotes may be delayed.

Company leaders and professional directories

Leadership roles and links use official company sources, checked September 23, 2026. Founders or chairs are identified by their actual role rather than called CEOs. Only sourced personal social links are included. The broker and advisor directory combines historical supplied records with linked professional biographies. It is not a roster of verified current licensees. See the directory’s source notes and check current registration through the linked regulators.

Stories and company connections

Stories summarize linked original company announcements. Company statements are not independently audited findings. Bull and bear questions are editorial analysis. Announcements do not prove why a share price changed. A documented connection is explicitly described in the linked source; a theme overlap is an editorial grouping and does not imply a contract or measured return correlation. Logos identify the companies and do not imply endorsement.

Price-move calculations

Period return equals last close divided by first close, minus one. Distance from the high compares the last close with the highest supplied close. Maximum drawdown is the largest peak-to-trough percentage decline in the supplied period. Daily history uses Massive split-adjusted bars when configured. Pasted data is sorted and validated but cannot be checked for complete trading sessions, dividends or accurate split adjustment. These calculations are price changes, not total investment returns.

Portfolio calculations

Positive supplied amounts are combined by ticker and divided by their total to produce weights summing to 100%. Unknown tickers remain in the denominator. Theme percentages add weights of tracked companies assigned to that theme. Companies can appear in multiple themes; these percentages must not be added as separate allocations. The tool does not look through funds or estimate portfolio volatility, suitability or expected returns.

Other research tools

A 20-observation return needs 21 closing prices. The 20-close simple average uses the latest 20 observations. Pearson correlation uses aligned return pairs supplied by the visitor and is undefined for a constant series. Position-risk scenarios assume the stated entry and exit; gaps, slippage and fees can increase losses. All tools describe inputs and assumptions rather than predict a result.

Calendar, polls and alerts

Calendar entries preserve announced dates, provisional status and time zones. Calendar downloads are one-time reminders and do not receive updates. Polls count real responses from accounts or browser identities; they are not representative surveys and can be affected by cookie resets. Price alerts require a market-data connection, scheduled monitoring and configured email delivery. Their status is shown in the alert desk. Only recent provider quotes may trigger an alert; monitoring can miss brief price crossings.

Images and corrections

Story images are company-published press photographs or illustrations, credited on the story page. Logos and imagery remain the property of their respective owners. A laboratory file photo is not represented as a specific drug program. Send corrections with an original public source.
